WACKER's new BTS-L3 series of portable cut-off saws offer unbeatable performance and economic efficiency due to a unique piston, innovative air filter and improved cooling. The key to these new cut-off saws is the "Long Life Lubrication" or "L3" piston. This innovative piston is furnished with a special graphite surface coating to eliminate piston and cylinder overheating even during tough continuous operations. This special coating also provides added protection against dirt.

Another new feature of the BTS series is the operator-friendly air cleaning system. This system directs the air flow so that the dust is automatically shaken off the preliminary filter through the machine's own vibration. The filter has a 54-percent larger filtering surface area that significantly increases the filter's service life.

The BTS series is also equipped with an optimized cooling system. The enlarged air feed optimizes the engine's protection against overheating. Additional advantages to these new saws include the starter rope that has been treated with silicone, providing for added protection against rope damages during rugged operation. The blade guard can be adjusted effortlessly and infinitely, allowing for quick and easy set-up times.

The BTS series continues to be available in four models and offer the highest power-to-weight ratio in their class as well as provide other outstanding ergonomic features including an electronic ignition for quick easy starts and top performance. Fingertip throttle control operates only when the throttle lock is depressed for added safety to the operator. A large silencer muffler provides quiet operation. The large double wall nylon fuel tank offers long running times and increased environmental protection.

The BTS 930L3 weighs only 22 pounds, has a blade diameter of 12 inches providing a cutting depth of 3.8 inches. The BTS 935L3 weighs 22.5 pounds, offers a 14-inch blade with a cutting depth of 5 inches. Both of these models come with a 4.4-hp gasoline engine.

The BTS 1030L3 and BTS 1035L3 both come equipped with a 5.6-hp gasoline engine. The BTS 1030 weighs in at 22 pounds and has a 12-inch diameter blade with a 3.8-inch cutting depth. The BTS 1035 weighs 22.5 pounds and has the 14-inch blade that provides a 5-inch cutting depth.
