Bucket Thumbs
Balderson Bucket Thumbs can be compared to a thumb on a human hand. The operator can use the bucket thumb to grasp and hold odd shaped items and loose material. Logs, tiles and boulders are usually difficult for an excavator bucket to handle. But with the Balderson Bucket Thumb, these materials are handled with greater ease. Thumbs are used in demolition, construction, logging and land clearing sites. Thumbs are available with or without link and can be used with many Balderson and Caterpillar excavator buckets. QUICK COUPLERS Balderson Quick Couplers allow for one operator with one machine to perform a variety of tasks. The hydraulic model permits the operator to switch attachments in under 30 seconds without leaving the cab. The manual model lets the operator lock the pins himself. Balderson offers a wide choice of buckets, forks, blades, handling arms and specialty attachments to match the Quick Coupler. Horizontal pin-style locking system provides fast and efficient operation of the Quick Coupler.
